infatti il burroughs è una personalità a se stante, fuori dal miasma/ marasma che nel delirio delle schifezze travolgeva gli states. era un pò come quei pochi scrittori americani che all'inizio del novecento si rivedono più nella cultura dada europea che nei filoni letterari del loro stesso paese. il bukowski lo cito per una certa ilarità che adoro in lobri come "musica per organi caldi".
