"The Blue Daisies were originally formed by Nic Greene and Nate Scoble and were a noise oriented guitar duo initially complemented by Joseph Hammer and Rick Potts and bongs. Brad Laner joined the band briefly and then quickly left, shocked by the bands occasional nudity when later joined by Jeff Poe. The next drummer, Steve Stain, and later still Hoagie broadened the sound and following. They were principally a live band/experience who built a somewhat loyal and diverse following amongst the industrial/noise, art, post-punk underground of L.A's early 80's. They appeared at a number of the Anti-Club/Theoretical events of East Hollywood infamy and opened for Sonic Youth, The Cult, Sex Gang Children etc."
