Ritornano con la line-up quasi originale gli Annihilator, dopo vari cambi, e dischi deludenti ad opera di Jeff Waters che si era ritrovato a suonare tutti gli strumenti, ha deciso di ritornare a fare sul serio,con reliquie del calbro di "Alice in Hell" tornano con "Criteria For A Black Widow".
Il disco in questione è un thrash al 100%, si apre con la bellissima e tiratissima "Bloodbath" (dove sono presenti assoli incredibili; la mia traccia preferita). Segue "Back to the Palace" che si mantiene sugli stessi livelli della song precedente, è il momento di "Punctured" song possente dal ritornello che ti si fissa in testa per tutto l'ascolto dell'album. Si prosegue con la title track geniale, ma più lenta rispetto alle canzoni precedenti.
Il cd si mantiene costante e devastante dalla prima all'ultima canzone, con tracce strepitose e ben fatte: "Schizos", "Nothing Left", "Loving the sinner" e "Double Dare".
In conclusione mi vorrei ancora riprendere dagli assoli che il nostro Jeff ci ha riservato in questo disco, sono incredibili e strepitosi, complimenti anche alla voce sempre molto azzeccata alle sonorità del disco. Il ritorno dei nostri non poteva andare meglio di così; il disco non lascerà nessun deluso soprattutto gli amanti del thrash non solo.
Quindi l'acquisto è più che obbligatorio (fidatevi).
