Yesterday at 3h or 4h
we saw someone
turn somersaults
up in the air.

This man was not
an acrobat.
We all saw him
now he is dead.

Tell me what’s it for!

These cameras steal and lie
whatever they shoot.
You better blow them all up tonight.

Another day, another year
we saw some men
turn somersaults
up in the air.

We saw it all,
the fireball
come back to earth
some hundreds died.

Tell me what’s it for!

These cameras steal and lie
whatever they shoot.
You better blow them all up tonight.

And all these TV-sets.
One thing is for sure.
We´d better blow them all up tonight.

Don´t you think,
that we do need
to see it all
to read it all:
the love affairs
the breaking hearts
the fireballs
the crashing cars

These cameras steal and lie
whatever they shoot.
You better blow them all up tonight.

And all these satellites.
One thing is for sure.
You better blow them all up tonight.

Tell me what´s it for!

All the earthquakes
all the crashes
all the love affairs
and broken hearts

2X

These cameras steal and lie
whatever they shoot.
You better blow them all up tonight.

And all these TV-Sets.
One thing is for sure.
You better blow them all up tonight.

07   The Times They Are Not A-Changin' (05:16)

08   Suck And Run (04:17)

Maybe you miss a word.
Maybe you miss my dirt.
Maybe your dog or maybe your god
or maybe you missed a call tonight.

Maybe I missed the end.
Maybe I miss my friends.
Maybe the sun or maybe the moon
or maybe I missed the afternoon.

But I don’t miss you tonight.
That isn’t meant to piss you off one more time.

Maybe you take my hand.
I try to do what I can.
I try not to cry, I try not to run.
I try not to wish it all undone.

Maybe my thought is wrong.
Maybe we’re just too strong.
Maybe I killed the love that I spilled
and maybe this was a rescue trap.

But I don’t miss you tonight.
That isn’t meant to piss you off one more time.
It does not mean that you don’t mean a thing to me.
But that’s the only way I’ll finally succeed.

in being me.

09   Secret Game (06:31)

I saw it on that street.
A well-known view I thought first,
but it left me with fear.

Tell me,
does it hurt?
Does it cause you pain or are we playing a game?
Or is it nothing but a tale, a fairy tale?

I saw it now and then,
on bridges, escalators or whilst waiting for trains.

Tell me, does it hurt?
Does it cause you pain or are we playing a game?
I guess as long as I’m not sure, I’d better run. I’d better run.
I guess as long as I’m not sure, I’d better run. I’d better run.

Wednesday, I saw it here.
In a room with friends, I was afraid at the end.

Tell me do I hurt?
Do I cause you pain or are we playing a game?
As long as you’re not sure, you’d better run. you’d better run.
As long as you’re not sure, you’d better run. You’d better run.
