Con "estremo" piacere vi presento il nuovo lavoro degli Exhumed!
Giunti alla terza fatica il gruppo targato Relapse migliora progressivamente di album in album anche se in fin dei conti la musicalità è sempre la stessa.
La musicalità può essere sempre la stessa ma un gruppo è abile proprio in questi casi, quando nel banale non si riesce a essere banali.
I quattro ragazzi suonano un death metal aggressivo ma con molteplici influenze grind. Le liriche come al solito sono improntate su argomenti non molto tranquilli infatti i membri di questa band saranno sicuramente laureati in medicina a pieni voti o di secondo lavoro fanno i chirurghi! ...solo questa può essere la spiegazione plausibile, basta guardare la copertina (anche se sarà sicuramente censurata in qualsiasi paese), aprire il libretto del disco in questione e capirete dai testi e dalle figure di cosa vi sto parlando.
Riguardo alla musica il batterista sa reggere buoni ritmi serrati e allo stesso tempo molto macchinosi insieme alle chitarre che fanno il loro dovere con le note e la giusta distorsione. Il cantato è straziante e la seconda voce gracchia velocemente le parole dei lunghi testi di "Anatomy Is Destiny".
Il cd ha un'apertura veloce e tagliente dopo l'intro con "Waxwork" seguita a "The Matter Of Splatter". Si calmano un po' gli animi ma in generale il ritmo delle undici songs è sempre molto sostenuto. In chiusura "Song For The Dead" vi sbalordirà forse per la sottile melodicità ma non vi preoccupate perche gli EXHUMED torneranno e quando torneranno saranno ancora più spietati di prima!
