Il debutto su Napalm Records dei danesi Iron Fire senz'altro non tradirà le attese del nutrito nugolo di fans del power metal più classico. Dodici canzoni (nella versione limitata in digipack verranno incluse due bonus track non presenti su questo promo cartonato) che scorrono via nel lettore piacevolmente, tra cavalcate di maideniana memoria ("Ironhead", "Brotherhood Of The Brave" sembrano essere veri e propri tributi alla band di Steve Harris) e coraggiosi assoli di chitarra.
Nessun calo tecnico o imprecisione, l'amalgama della band è praticamente perfetta anche se i puristi del genere avranno da obiettare la presenza di un cantante non puramente metal (radi sono gli screaming più power, in favore di una voce che ricorda moltissimo gli Europe, soprattutto nell'utilizzo dei cori).
Se il quintetto nordico su "Metal Messiah" e "Stand As King" strizza l'occhio al thrash, per la quasi totalità delle altre canzoni si avvicina prepotentemente a quanto hanno già detto e stradetto Helloween, e si avventura in coinvolgenti ballate come "Icecold Arion" senza mai perdere di vista il proprio stampo sonoro. Gli amanti delle atmosfere happy e del power metal roccioso lo faranno senz'altro loro.
