Bella gente,
quando ho saputo che potevo recensire anche una serie tv mi sono detto... Cacchio, perchè no? E soprattutto perchè non cominciare dal mio telefilm preferito?
"Buffy The Vampire Slayer" creato da Joss Whedon è sicuramente uno dei telefilm cult degli ultimi 15 anni.
La saga si divide in 7 stagioni (in seguito dall'ottava in poi diventa una bellissima serie a fumetti) che raccontano le avventure di Buffy Summers, giovane ragazza americana che si ritrova ad essere la prescelta per combattere contro vampiri, demoni e compagnia bella: la Cacciatrice.
Ogni generazione ha la sua Cacciatrice, infatti appena muore una, ne viene chiamata subito un'altra.
Nelle sue avventure, che vive nella città immaginaria di Sunnydale (altrimenti detta per ovvi motivi "Bocca dell'inferno"), Buffy è aiutata dagli amici Xander e Willow, dal suo osservartore (che è più un secondo padre), il signor Giles e da altri amici o fidanzati di turno dei protagonisti centrali (Angel, Spike, Anja, Oz, Cordelia, Tara).
Il telefilm gioca su due aspetti essenziali: unisce l'horror e il fantasy al classico teen-drama alla "Beverly Hills 90210", ottenendo un mix perfetto.
Molto toccante anche il rapporto tra i comprimari, che più che una gang di amici col tempo diventano una vera e propria famiglia.
Interessante anche la maturazione dei personaggi all'interno della serie, con argomenti sociali sempre più interessanti (l'omosessualità, la tossicodipendenza qua rivisitata in chiave magica, la morte dei cari...)
Mai banale la serie, per la maggior parte degli episodi è godibilissima, soprattutto verso le ultime stagioni.
