Nel 1993 è uscito quest'album, dopo l'opera prima (piuttosto deludente) "Grim Reality"; il sound era più o meno uguale anche se la profondità dei testi cominciava a farsi sentire in modo differente... nonostante si trattasse di un disco death metal i toni canzonatori e volutamente infantili e ironici amalgamati alla musicalità leggermente miscelanea, che univa influenze quasi blues all'interno di traccie hardcore o grindcore velocissime, donava un'aria particolare durante l'ascolto.
I Macabre hanno sempre avuto, infatti, la particolarità di affondare le loro radici in molti generi diversi fra loro: quando parlano delle loro principali fonti citano i Beatles, i Ramones e i Black Sabbath... band molto diverse fra loro.
Detto questo. Tutto l'album è quanto di più crudele e rozzo si possa trovare, moltiplicato per cento. Vengono esaltati maniaci criminali, come se fossero eroi nazionali; fra cui il noto pedofilo depravato Albert Fish che mangiava bambini, prima accuratamente torturati. Il motivo ricorrente della band è proprio il trattare di crimini e splatter con leggerezza, naturalezza e quasi euforia. Le canzoni sono molto diverse anche nella durata: alcune 40 secondi altre tre minuti.
Il primo pezzo è "Night Stalker" dedicato a Richard Ramirez (il titolo è appunto un accenno al suo soprannome) ed è uno dei migliori del cd, nonchè della band in generale, poi si sviluppa attraverso le ottime "The Ted Bundy Song" "Zodiac" e "Montreal Massacre" fino ad arrivare ad una stranissima nenia zingaresca: "Mary Bell" che parla della serial killer inglese che uccideva già all'età di cinque anni... e si conclude con tre pezzi dissacranti e sarcastici come "Albert Was Worse Than Any Fish In The Sea" "Edmond Kemper Had A Horrible Temper".
Un disco che è sicuramente il capolavoro dei Macabre, ma che piacerà solo a chi di Death Metal già s'intende o per lo meno chi è già abituato al metal estremo.
