De La Soul

De La Soul è un trio hip hop statunitense formato ad Amityville (Long Island) nel 1988 da Posdnuos (Plug One), Trugoy the Dove (Plug Two) e Maseo (Plug Three). Debuttano nel 1989 con 3 Feet High and Rising, prodotto da Prince Paul, diventando un riferimento dell’alternative hip hop e del jazz-rap per l’uso creativo dei campionamenti e l’estetica D.A.I.S.Y. Age. Trugoy the Dove è scomparso nel 2023.
