Janis Joplin

Cantante statunitense simbolo degli anni ’60, prima con i Big Brother and the Holding Company e poi da solista con la Kozmic Blues Band e la Full Tilt Boogie Band. Voce potente e viscerale, è legata a brani come Piece of My Heart, Me and Bobby McGee, Mercedes Benz e Cry Baby. È morta nel 1970 a 27 anni; Pearl è uscito postumo nel 1971.
