Big Country

Big Country sono una band rock scozzese fondata nel 1981 a Dunfermline da Stuart Adamson e Bruce Watson, con Tony Butler e Mark Brzezicki. Noti per il suono di chitarra che richiama le cornamuse grazie anche all’uso dell’e‑bow, hanno firmato album di rilievo come The Crossing (1983), Steeltown (1984) e The Seer (1986). Tra i brani più noti: In a Big Country, Fields of Fire, Chance e Look Away. Stuart Adamson è scomparso nel 2001; la band è poi tornata on stage, anche con Mike Peters alla voce.
