Autumn Tears è un progetto neoclassical darkwave statunitense nato a metà anni ’90 a Boston per mano di Ted Tringo. Debutta con la trilogia Love Poems for Dying Children (1996–2000), il cui Act I viene ristampato come Reprise MCMXCVIII da Dark Symphonies. Dopo Eclipse (2004), approda al camerismo sinfonico di The Hallowing (2007). Alla voce, la storica Erika (Erika Swinnich) e, successivamente, Laurie Ann Haus.
