I due fratelli Fairbrass, Fred e Richard, decidono di dare un nome al loro gruppo musicale, e tra mille pensieri che andavano di qua e di là, decisero per Fred detto di destra quindi "Right Said Fred". "UP" è un album divertente allegro, facile all’ascolto, dal pop frizzante, orecchiabilissimo e ballatissimo. I due fratelli dai muscoli prorompenti da far uscire gli occhi dalle orbite a donne e uomini e gay, attenti alle mode correnti, all’aspetto, circondati da bamboline formose e mezze nude, e quasi completamente nudi loro, prendono la musica come divertimento d’incisione creando degli album variopinti, e portando "Up" a vendite e risultati eccezionali in vetta a classifiche di tormentoni alquanto piacevoli, come "I’m Too Sexy", oppure "Don’t Talk Just Kiss" , o "Deeply Dippy”.
Richard dalla voce sensuale e profonda riesce a interpretare bene le canzoni come se volesse attraversare le sculture del suo corpo, le canzoni successive, degli altri album, vanno dal dolce “Something in Your Eyes” , all’amore “Under a Simpson’s Sky” e anche alla provocazione che vede in “Jesus is a Clubber” un Gesù frequentatore di discoteche e alla fine, la ninna nanna “Night Night” . Be, insomma, se ascoltate "Up" che a mio parere, è il più centrato, e gli altri, non potrete fare a meno di alzare il volume e di danzare a buon ritmo di ginnastica, come a loro piace imporre, e su questo non ci piove! Basta guardarli…
