E' tra gli album se non l'album che più ho apprezzato in questo semestre del 2005. Soave e aggraziato, maestosamente semplice e diretto, capace di conquistare sin dal primo ascolto e tentarne molteplici repliche successive.
Il dubbio in questi casi è che alla lunga possa stancare che si tratti di "robetta facile" che il miraggio sia destinato a consumarsi veloce ed improvviso tradendo le aspettative, lasciandoci come dei bimbi tristi davanti al giocattolo rotto.
Invece no! E ve lo dice chi da 4 mesi lo ascolta con piacere sempre rinnovato. Per la cronaca trattasi di pop melodico molto vicino a Air, Aqualung, Radiohead. La voce ricorda infatti quella di Tom Yorke. Cosa aggiungere, solo che è sorprendente si tratti di un esordio, giacché i modi in cui Sébastien si presenta sono più quelli di un'artista consumato e maturo che s'impone con autorità, tranquillità e sicurezza al suo pubblico.
E' semplice rendere le cose complicate, più complicato è renderle semplici e Sébastien Schuller ci riesce benissimo!!!
