Il disco risulta incredibilmente stanco, abbiamo a che fare con un fastidiosamente definibile pop-rock. Intendo fastidiosamente definibile, perchè il disco non supera il primo ascolto e per essere definito andrebbe riascoltato alla ricerca di connotazioni musicali più precise: cosa che i deludentissimi "Teenage Fanclub" non meritano. No no no. Dopo l'ascolto è fondamentale ripulirsi le orecchie ascoltando altro, puo' andare bene anche "Gentle Giant".
Una copertina scarna ed un booklet semi-amatoriale spesso sono sinonimo di produzione interessante, spesso non sono sinonimo di nulla perchè non è la copertina a fare il disco (teenage docet). L'ottimo recensore conclude sempre consigliando il disco a qualcuno, beh, i "Teenage Fanclub" non penso possano avere un target; dovendo citare qualcuno direi che il disco potrebbe essere utile a quei poveri montatori che si occupano dei matrimoni: se cercate dei "letti" musicali per le scene caotiche in cui gli invitati si abboffano, i "Teenage Fanclub" fanno al caso vostro. Ma anche no.
