Succede così, che invece di robe meravigliose come suicide is painless, di Bill Evans, o di Jeep's Blues (capolavoro assoluto, citata da nico63, a sua insaputa, e lo ringrazio) vi parlo di questa cosa qui. Che certo la conoscete. E amate. E analizzate. Molto meglio di me.
Succede così, che se volessi fare il saputello, il professore, vi direi che Duane Allman ha passato la sua (breve) vita a studiare e ristudiare Kind of Blue. Ed è per questo che mi piace. Ma non è vero.
Succede così, invece. Che non mi va. Mi va di mettere le cuffie, di sparare a palla questa meraviglia, di ballare, di non pensare a niente.

The Allman Brothers Band nasce nel 1969 attorno ai fratelli Duane (chitarra) e Gregg Allman (voce, organo), con Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks e Jaimoe. Fondamentali nel definire il southern rock, fondono blues, jazz e country, imponendosi con il live At Fillmore East (1971).
