II sono i componenti rimasti, Alex Band e Aaron Kamin, II è il titolo dell'Album, II è l'uscita dell'Album.
La voce di Alex è da brividi e la chitarra di Aaron è planetaria, i brani sono caldi, maturi e romantici, c'è molta intensità nei testi, nell'applicazione e nell'esecuzione, direi semplicemente fantastico. Un'altra adorata copertina, l'UOMO la più straordinaria e complicata macchina meccanica ad ingranaggi viventi che si unisce amichevolmente con una stretta di mano sotto la simbolica protezione alata e leggiadra.
"One By One" - un'apertura melodica, solare una poesia dove l'amore modella l'anima e il corpo - "Our Lives" traccia bollente, la voce sensuale e suadente si scioglie tra due corpi nudi che si avvinghiano tra sussurri e profonde effusioni - "Things Will Go My Way" lievi chitarre e percussioni introducono un'esplosiva progressione di vivacità e sintomatico desiderio di sognare - "Chasing The Sun" molto decisivo ed incalzante, affiora molto romanticismo espressivo, le percussioni dominanti e la chitarra elettrica si destreggiano nel cantico dei cantici - "Believing" la voce diventa un'iride a 360° dove abbandonarsi vuol dire lasciar immergere nei colori primari l'anima oramai stinta - "Anything" molto bella, ritmo a iosa e le percussioni sono padroni di se come un amore prelibato da conservare meticolosamente e da consumarsi in piccole dosi essenziali solo su prescrizione del Dr. Stranamore - "If Only" traccia lieve e pacata, ritornelli argentei, voce carnale e abbagliante - "Somebody Out There" la chitarra solca una linea grossolana, la voce riempie questa linea che si traccia sulla pelle come un fiato caldo che penetra nell'orecchio e ti fa irrigidire di piacere sussurandoti silenziose parole eccitanti - "Surrender" frizzantina e incantatrice, sbarazzina e innocente, un soffio di vento - "Dreaming In Red" chitarra e percussioni saltellano come tanti bambini che in un cortile si concentrano a stare in bilico su una gamba in quell'indimenticabile gioco chiamato "mondo" - "Your Hope" le parentesi vocali di Aaron e la voce carismatica di Alex, sono la perfetta cornice conclusiva di questo quadro straordinario.
Un "trasbordo" di purezza e voglia di desiderio amorevolmente carnale, emozioni espressive salutari, insomma questo Album lo definirei un'aspirina effervescente alla vitamina C per quei momenti della vita in cui prevale la spossatezza.
