Ci sono quei sabato sera in cui ti stai veramente rompendo le palle... hai mangiato un pò di pizza e non ancora sazio prendi anche un doppio chessburger al pub.. capisci che è il momento di uno shoortino, ti cali in un attimo il tuo "Tsunami", senti la gola bruciare leggermente perchè la cameriera piuttosto fica te l'ha accesso, ma sai che no ti farà comunque nulla... ci vuole ben altro....
Verso mezzanotte è il momento di un buon gelato con doppia panna, terminato il quale ti ritrovi nella tua macchina perchè fuori ha iniziato a fare freddo e tu e i tuoi amici siete rimasti tutti a maniche corte.... sprezzanti... due del tuo gruppo saltano su e giù nella macchina come due malati grazie alle melodie di un "presa a bene cd", uno continua a dare capocciate allo sportello per il mal di testa, un'altro, appena arrivato, sta buttato per terra a fumarsi una bella ciospa del ventone di camel appena comprato dopo un duro sabato di lavoro, per altro mal retribuito, e tu sei lì, sai che ti stai rompendo le palle, ma non sai in che modo potresti risollevare la serata....
Alla fine si fanno le 3... decidi di tornare a casa, riaccompagni gli ultimi due superstiti della serata al solito angolo, ed eccoti lì, sei rimasto nella tua macchina, con il tuo stereo ed i tuoi cd, capisci che è il momento giusto per una canzone: "I don't wanna miss a thing", inizia il tuo viaggio verso casa, ti senti come gli astronauti del film 'Armageddon' nel loro viaggio proibitivo verso una cometa in rotta di collisione con la Terra, dovevano farla saltare in aria, e salvare la vita delle proprie mogli, dei propri figli, dell'intero genere umano... il tuo viaggio personale, seppur breve e apparentemente comune, è altrettanto proibitivo, devi riuscire a tornare a casa tenendo a bada le montagne russe miste alla sonnolenza che tentano di distoglierti dal tuo obiettivo... ma nel tuo percorso sei comunque guidato dalla voce del cantante con i dentoni degli Aerosmith, che ti accompagna con la sua canzone come faceva nel film con la figlia, nei panni di Bruce Willis...
Continui ad ascoltare quelle splendide parole, quella dolce melodia, trovi finalmente parcheggio, sali su casa e ti metti nel tuo letto... ce l'hai fatta, proprio come gli astronauti di 'Armageddon', hai portato a termine il tuo viaggio, e mentre ti addormenti riecheggiano nella tua mente quelle parole:
