Per chi come me è abituato a sentire tanto metal moderno, facciamo un salto nel passato per andare in un epoca bellissima: anni '80. Ci troviamo nel decennio d'oro per quanto riguarda l'Heavy Metal, qui sono stati partoriti gli album definiti "classici" del genere, ed è dove più si sono affermate band come Iron Maiden e Judas Priest. Esatto, il tipo di musica di questo cd (anch'esso quasi definito un classico) è lo stesso alle band appena accennate.
A volte allegri, a volte violenti, la batteria che segue schemi pompanti e bellissimi assoli di chitarra che svagano con un dei bellissimi ritmi melodici. Poche ricadute per questi 40 minuti di Heavy Metal originale. Consigliata in assoluto la prima traccia "Armored Saint" dove il chitarrista Dave Prichard, morto 6 anni dopo per una malattia, dà il meglio di sé. Ogni Metallaro intenditore dovrebbe conoscere gli Armoreid Saint che purtroppo per un contratto con una casa discografica incompetente non sono riusciti mai a spopolare quanto avrebbero potuto fare veramente.
Pregi: molta classicità, assoli belli, ritmi incitanti.
Difetti: molto familiari a Iron Maiden e simili
