Ciao a tutti! Oggi mi trovo a scrivere la recensione del disco Waking The Fallen degli Avenged Sevenfold.
La musica proposta dalla Band di Orange Country in questo disco è alquanto difficile da definire con precisione, racchiudono un pò di Iron Maiden, chorus ispirati ai Bad Religion, e qualche inclinazione agli A.F.I..
La compertina è semplicemente bella dove viene raffigurato il Deathbat (icona della band) in uno sfondo nero ma non soffermiamoci all'estetica e analizziamo il secondo Capolavoro degli A7x!
Come prima traccia abbiamo "Wakin the Fallen" una breve INTRO, questa poi collega a "Unholy Confessions", primo e unito singolo estratto da questo disco, fantastica canzone che fa capire già che la band è tecnicamente migliorata dal passato "Sounding the Seventh Trumpet", come terza traccia abbiamo la bella ed emozionante "Chapter Four" una canzone proprio ben fatta, dopo questa troviamo la pesante "Remenissions", come quinta traccia abbiamo la cattiva "Desecrate Through Reverance" seguita dalla veloce e cattiva "Eternal Rest", come settima traccia abbiamo la bella e melodica "Second Heartbeat" una delle canzoni che apprezzo di più in questo disco, come ottava traccia abbiamo "Radiant Eclipse" i silenzi finali di questa traccia portano alla mia preferita "I Won't See You Tonight (Pt. 1)" semplicemente bellissima canzone con tanto di pianoforte che viene divisa in due parti, la prima una emozionante ballata, la seconda "I Won't See You Tonight (Pt. 2)" musicalmente opposta rispetto alla prima e piena di cattiveria, come Undicesima traccia abbiamo "Clairvoyant Disease" e come ultima traccia abbiamo "And All Things Will End" bellissima e lughissima canzone che sembra invitarti a non abbandonare questo gran bel disco.
Ricapitolando 12 traccie per un totale di 68 min circa, insomma consiglio questo disco degli A7X sia ai metallari, sia ai giovinani che ascoltano nu metal-emo-punk-rock, grazie al loro stile e alla loro bravura...

Unholy Confession, la vera perla di questo cd, una canzone che non stanca mai.
Il quintetto di O.C. si è evoluto rispetto al lavoro precedente, producendo un disco molto apprezzabile e vario.
