Dopo due anni di attesa, pochi rispetto al loro precedente ritorno... I BsB sono tornati, con un membro in meno che temporaneamente ha voluto dedicarsi alla sua vita nuova di neo-papà ma che comunque ha lasciato i suo compagni più in forma di prima!
Unbreakable il titolo del loro ultimo cd, 14 canzoni fiancheggiate da 3 inediti... è proprio vero... il gruppo dà segni di maturità, professionalità e stile come non mai.

Bonus track: Downpour, In pieces, Nowhere to go
La prima traccia raccoglie in un minuto di durata la capacità vocale che i ragazzi hanno nell'interpretare un brano senza essere accompagnati da strumenti musicali ma bensì solo dalle loro voci... trattasi della traccia numero 14 riproposta a cappella la quale mette in evidenza quanto il gruppo sia ben armonizzato e quanto il cantare in questo modo sia il loro punto di forza! Davvero una bella performance.
Ma adesso entriamo nel clou dell'album...
Come sappiamo Unbreakable è stato preceduto dal singolo "Inconsolabile" ossia una ballad puro stile Backstreet ma che ancora una volta non ha deluso nessuno dei fans ma anzi ha contribuito ad avvicinarne di nuovi... la "novità" di questo lavoro è che i ragazzi hanno sfornato un qualcosa di inaspettato, che nessuno mai avrebbe immaginato potesse uscire dalle loro voci... E' vero... eravamo già abituati ad ascoltarli anche in canzoni più movimentate ma questo album ha toccato l'apice... canzoni come "Everything but mine", "Any other way", "One in a million", "Panic" ed infine "Treat me right"... prodotta con l'aiuto di un vecchio amico JC Chasez ti fanno davvero venir voglia di lasciare qualsiasi cosa tu stia facendo e ballare sotto le note dance di questi pezzi...
Non mancano neanche pezzi più lenti ma comunque maturi come "Something that I already know", "Helpless when she smiles","You can let go", "Trouble is", "Love will keep you all of night", "Unmistakable", "Unsuspecting Sunday afternoon"...canzoni che il solo titolo fanno sognare ad occhi aperti e che magari ti vien voglia di dedicare al tuo partner!

1* Digipack-versione deluxe (cartonato contenente, cd con 2 inediti: downpour e in pieces+posterino del gruppo)
2* Standard version (versione in plastica con solo le 14 canzoni senza inediti).
L'unica pecca del cd è che non ci sono i testi nel booklet ma questo è di secondaria importanza quando accendendo il tuo stereo ascolti melodie simili... Diciamocelo... VALE LA PENA di essere ascoltato! Inutile anche accennarvi il significato dei testi altrimenti il tutto verrebbe svelato... non vi resta altro che acquistarlo e farci sapere cosa ne pensate!
