Non credo esistano recensioni, seppur ottime in grado di descrivere bene questo disco; sicuramente è da mettre tra i 10 dischi fondamentali degli anni novanta non tanto perchè è precursore di un certo genere ma per l'originalità con cui tratta Dance, Pop ed Elettronica.
Il folletto islandese da alla luce il suo album di "debutto" che per assurdo può essere considerato il disco della maturità artistica (Björk ha già fatto parte in passato di altri progetti musicali, come gli Sugarcubes, gruppo Post-Punk islandese). Ciò che stupisce di più è che questo disco del '93 sembra tutt'altro che datato: una canzone come "Come To Me", nella quale interviene anche Talvin Singh, sembra la profezia di come sarà la musica di Moby dieci anni più tardi. "Big Time Sensuality" e "Violently Happy" sono apici ai quali la Dance Moderna non riesce più ad arrivare; con "Human Behaviour" e "Crying" sembra di entrare in una vera e propria giungla elettronica. Ma a parte il genio creativo Björk gode di un dono naturale ovvero la sua inconfondibile voce che oltre essere un valore aggiunto è anche il suo punto di forza e lei questo lo sa benissimo!
