Cos' è che piace di Bruce Springsteen?
Io ne ho sempre apprezzato la semplicità.
Lui non ha mai avuto bisogno di rinnovare di molto il proprio stile musicale.
Una chitarra in mano, la E-Street Band alle spalle (quasi sempre) e la dote di scrivere canzoni dirette, sbattendoti in pieno volto la vita dei suoi personaggi e le loro peculiarità.
Per alcuni versi, come Lou Reed, ma questa è un' altra storia.
L' esempio che mi viene in mente è il bellissimo e scarno Nebraska.
Molti pezzi che adoro, spesso sono sottovalutati in scalette di concerti e in generale dagli stessi artisti, ed è secondo me il caso di Secret Garden.
Uscita come singolo nel 1995 per promuovere il suo Greatest Hits e successivamente inclusa nella colonna sonora del film "Jerry Maguire ", la canzone tratta da un certo punto di vista, il tema dell' incomunicabilità.
È giusto avere dei segreti con chi è più vicino a noi?
Ma la domanda che mi pongo:
È giusto, se si tiene ad una persona, voler sapere tutto di lei?
Ognuno ha diritto di riservare un posto all' interno di se stesso dove tenere i più segreti dei sentimenti e dei ricordi.
E non importa quanto dai di te, c' è sempre un giardino segreto lontano miglia da occhi altrui. E li ci metti cosa vuoi, chi vuoi. Nessuno ti giudica e non c' è bene ne male.
