Propaganda è un gruppo synth-pop tedesco nato a Düsseldorf nei primi anni ’80. Formazione cardine con Ralf Dörper, Andreas Thein (inizialmente), Michael Mertens e le vocalist Claudia Brücken e Susanne Freytag. Debutta su ZTT con A Secret Wish (1985), trainato da Dr. Mabuse, P‑Machinery e Duel; ritorna nel 1990 con 1234 su Virgin, tra cambi di formazione e ospiti.
