In Werewolf i violini sembrano piangere andando a dipingere un'atmosfera quasi surreale, proprio come piace a me.

01   I Don't Blame You (03:07)

Last time I saw you, you were on stage
Your hair was wild, your eyes were bright
And you were in a rage
You were swinging your guitar around
Cuz they wanted to hear that sound
But you didn’t want to play
And I don’t blame you

I don’t blame you

Been around the world, in many situations
Been inside many heads in different positions
But you never wanted them that way
What a cruel price you thought that you had to pay
Them back for all that shit on stage
But it never made sense to them anyway
Could you imagine when they turned their backs
They were only scratching their heads
Cuz you simply deserve the best
And I don’t blame you

I don't blame you

They said you were the best
But then they were only kids
Then you would recall the deadly houses you grew up in
Just because they knew your name
Doesn’t mean they know from where you came
What a sad trick you thought that you had to play
But I don’t blame you

They never owned it
And you never owed it to them anyway

I don’t blame you

02   Free (03:36)

03   Good Woman (04:00)

04   Speak for Me (03:06)

Pick us up we’re all by ourselves
The great big howling is about to begin
A thousand miles from where it all begins

Old world, the whole world is

Going on and on (forfeit the shape to fit)
The backhand to a touch is moving on again
Going on and on

What’s next?
I’m out of time
Losing my touch I can't feel
Speak for me
Do you see the same signs?
Do you know how to read between the lines?
All in all, it's all or none, all for one
What you want?

Pick us out of a lineup
Stranded and strange just as innocent as kids
The found are leaving and they're trying to forget
The old world, the whole world is

Going on and on (forfeit the shape to fit)
A backhand to the touch is moving on again
Going on and on

What’s next?
I’m out of time
Losing my touch I can't feel
Speak for me
Do you see the same signs?
Do you know how to read between the lines?
All in all, it's all or none, all for one
What you want?

Going on and on

05   Werewolf (04:10)

Oh the werewolf, the werewolf
Comes stepping along
He don't even break the branches where he's gone
Once I saw him in the moonlight, when the bats were flying
I saw the werewolf, and the werewolf was crying

How nobody knows, nobody knows, body knows
How I loved the man, as I teared off his clothes.
How nobody knows, nobody knows my pain
When I see that it's risen; that full moon again

For the werewolf, the werewolf has seen appathy
For the werewolf, somebody like you and me.
And only he goes to me, man this little flute I play.
All through the night, until the light of day, and we are doomed to play.

For the werewolf, the werewolf, has seen appathy
For the werewolf, somebody like you and me.

06   Fool (03:51)

Apartment in New York, London and Paris
Where will we rest, we're all living on top of it
It's all that we have the USA is our daily bread
And no one is willing to share it

Why can't we see our fortunancy
Living as legends have lived.
Bane and dismannered
We coax all the time
Knowing that nothing is left when we die

Come along Fool
A direct hit of the senses you are disconnected
It's not that it's badit's not that it's death
It's just on the tip of your tongue, and you're so silent

Wanting to live and laugh all the time
Sitting alone with you tea and your crime
Children with kids, and people with parents
Anywhich way there's no past and no presence
When the day comes and all of them bums
Will reveal enchanting persons
Come along...

When it's a rut and baby's no luck
Half of it's misunderstanding love
The war we have won we're winning again
Within ourselves and within our friends
Come along...

We're on to your same old trick
Get up and run away with it

13   Keep On Runnin' (03:53)

14   Evolution (04:44)

Better call the ships, they been caught sailing
Better call the captain, he's been caught stealing
Better call the porter man, he's been caught leaving
Better call all the guys on the deck; they've been caught with no feeling
Better call the fisherman, cause they're coming on land
Better call the head nurse, wrap us up, to throw us in the dark
Better call with some resistance, better way to feel no shame
Better call with some persistence, that way you feel nothing at all
Better call on evolution, better way to make a revolution
Better make your mind up quick
Better make your mind up quick
