Dura la vita per una pop-star, specie se tua sorella fa lo stesso lavoro ed è più seguita di te. Lo sa bene Dannii Minogue che dopo il successo del 2003 cerca disperatamente di tenersi a galla ma per svariati motivi non ce la fa. Dopo aver dato alle stampe i singoli "You won t forget about me" , con il duo di djs italiani Power Flower ( singolo andato comunque ottimamente in europa e in italia ), e " perfection " con i Soulseekerz ( questo singolo è andato meno bene ), era tutto pronto per fare uscire il nuovo album di inediti. Purtroppo però nel 2005 viene diagnosticato a Kylie Minogue il tumore al seno quindi Dannii lascia lo studio e corre ad aiutare e stare vicina alla sorella malata. Nel 2006 esce " so under preassure " che è il singolo di traino ad un nuovo greatest hits ovvero "The hits & beyond" ( che prende il posto dell album di inediti non completato ).
"The hits & beyond" è comunque un bellissimo esperimento da parte della All around the world records di unire passato-presente e futuro in un unica compilation. Tante hits del passato ("love & kissess", "this is it", " all i wanna do", "who do you love now?" , " put the needle on it ", " i begin to wonder " etc....... ) , le nuove canzoni più 5 brani inediti e ovviamente il singolo " so under preassure " dedicato alla malattia di Kylie.
Sebbene il disco , best of , non sia andato molto bene , l immagine di Dannii Minogue è migliorata tantissimo. Dannii è donna matura , regina dello stile e regina del clubs e delle discoteche.
Ovviamente da sottolineare il fatto che è stata di grande aiuto alla sorella Kylie nel momento del bisogno. Brava
