A man (Gavin) who lost his wife and his daughter started into meeting Shana, a woman married with a fanatic catholic religious, who tries to introduce him and his friend Chris into the cult of God. Soon Gavin and Shana relationship get discovered and some circumstances need Gavin to get him throwing down from the roof of a building in the centre of the city. A policeman, Hollis, who is in a not good period of his life, tries to stop him to kille himself. The two started a conversation reflecting one into the life of the other. Narrated via the flash-backs of the two main characters, 'The Ledge' it's a dramatic movie with didascalic contents and that invites the audience to some reflections about life and about love and all the kind of relationship between people. Well directed, the plot it does work, but probably I guess there was the opportunity to dare much than actually was done.
