I Dover sono una band spagnola, Cristina Llanos, Amparo Llanos, Alvaro Diez e Jesus Antunez. Cantano in inglese, con la bella voce di Cristina che però a tratti è debole, senza corpo, carattere. "My Secret People" e "Better Day" le due canzoni di apertura sono due belle canzoni indie rock con assoli melodici semplici e lineari. Già la terza però, "The Weak Hour Of The Rooster" assomiglia ai No Doubt, una ballata lenta che poi però si riprende per fortuna nella parte finale. "Lady Barbuda" presenta dei chitarroni pesanti “shave your legs, I don’t want to be one…one of those” di cosa starà parlando? Problemi di depilazione delle donne spagnole? Canzoni indie-rock, costruite tutte sulla stessa struttura verse/chorus/verse ripetuto, con un assolo melodico nel chorus, piacevoli. Sembra quasi non si sappiano decidere fra le parti lente e morbide ed i chitarroni pesanti tentando un approccio eclettico che ha come risultato di non essere né l’una né l’altra cosa, piacevole a tratti ma che non ti prende mai veramente. Non hanno neanche una catchphrase, un verso che ti prende e che ti ritorna in testa quando meno te lo aspetti, sarebbe stato meglio avessero cantato in spagnolo, in questo caso sarebbero sembrati più provinciali, per gli stilemi scelti, ma senza dubbio più interessanti.
