NOOOOOOOO, un'altra recensione sui Radiohead?
Beh, non proprio... diciamo una recensione sui loro discepoli.
Danimarca, tutto nasce da Ok Computer, nasce un gruppo, nascono tre album, nasce Zitilites.
Questo è il quarto lavoro dei Kashmir, ricco, corposo, ormai neanche troppo scopiazzato. L'influenza dei Radiohead si sente, certo, ma ormai si coglie la vena creativa indipendente. Gli effetti si intrecciano con le chitarre, l'organo supporta la sezione ritmica, il cerchio si chiude. Le canzoni sono morbide, entrano anche ad un primo ascolto distratto, le melodie colpiscono per la semplicità e l'efficacia, senza dover attendere troppo si è rapiti dal disco.
14 pezzi tutti uniti tra loro, un disco omogeneo ed allo stesso tempo eterogeneo. Una voce calda descrive paesaggi, visuali, emozioni.
Il caldo, ecco cosa ti avvolge all'ascolto, e la cosa è abbastanza strana in pieno inverno, aggiungete che questi ragazzi certo non vengono da un paese con un clima tropicale e avrete un quadro della situazione abbastanza chiarificatore: questo disco è speciale.
Amnesiac e Ok Computer sono sempre lì, latitano tra le note, riaffiorano, ma non danno fastidio, non diventano ingombranti, non precludono l'originalità di Zitilites.
Ai fan dei Radiohead questo disco è caldamente consigliato, ma credo possa piacere a quasi tutti gli ascoltatori di vera musica, credo sia uno dei pochi buoni prodotti usciti di recente.

Zitilites nonostante l’apparente glacilità nasconde un cuore davvero caldo.
Il gruppo ha ascoltato alla follia Ok Computer dei Radiohead. E l’influenza la si ascolta in praticamente ogni pezzo dell’album.
