Close è il sesto album in studio della cantante britannica Kim Wilde pubblicato nel 1988. Partiamo dal presupposto che questo album alla sua uscita aveva riscontrato un grande successo per la variazione delle canzoni alcune sono molto pop rock e altre un pò più pop come "Hey Mister Heartache" che secondo me non è male come canzone non è la piu bella del disco ma comunque molto apprezzata la seconda e forse quella che conosco tutti il suo cavallo di battaglia "You Came" molto bella e sopratutto una canzone che ti rimane in mente facilmente avendo il ritornelo che si ripete più volte forse "You came, and changed the way I feel No one could love you more Because you came and turned my life around" secondo me non è male e lavorata molto bene sopratutto adatta anche per cantarla in pubblico. Passiamo alla seconda la Ballad dell'album "Four Letter Word" classico pezzo d'amore molto usato nel pop diciamo che a me non piace un granchè come canzone troppo melensa. Inceve passiamo a davvero a quello che si può dire il capolavoro dell'album la stupenda "Love in the Natural Way" amo questa canzone o perso il conto delle volte che l'ascolto a manetta in camera. "Love's a No" non mi dice un granchè diciamo che è una classica canzone d'amore come già ci fa notare il ititolo quindi non aggiungo altro per non dilungarmi. Never Trust a Stranger la piu veloce dell'abum ma la passerei via veloce non mi piace un granchè. You'll Be the One Who'll Lose altro capolavoro dell'album mi piace molto come si è lavorato molto sull'intro della canzone e molto apprezzabile bello come la batteria entri molto piano diciamo che qui assomiglia quasi al genere di "Belinda Carlisle". "European Soul" e un altro pezzo che amo molto di questo album molto particolare ma davvero piacevole ascoltare mentre si viaggia ti accompagna e sopratutto ti trasmette delle emozioni ed è proprio quello che dovrebbe fare la musica trasmettere qualcosa vi consiglio di ascoltarla. "Stone" non mi piace e non sto neanche ad a soffermarmi tanto la passerei via e andrei subito a quella successiva la stupenda Lucky Guy molto bella e sopratutto pensata per chiudere questo capolavoro di album che consiglio di avere insieme a "Love Moves" album successivo.
