Mi trovo alle prese con la mia prima recensione… Ciò che mi spinge è una gran voglia di esternare la mia passione per la musica e soprattutto confrontarmi con chi è di certo più esperto di me… Ho letto parecchie recensioni con i vari commenti, che molte volte si tramutano in infuocate discussioni a suon di parolacce, ciò mi ha un po’ spaventata, ma devo dire che anche i più accesi dibattiti dimostrano che si fa sul serio, nel senso che qui il livello di cultura musicale è veramente altissimo… Comunque, curiosando per il sito mi sono accorta che ci sono pochi album dei Kiss e ciò mi ha colpito molto, al punto che ho deciso di recensirne uno io!!! Dopo questo preambolo è bene che sappiate che non sono una grandissima esperta, la mia conoscenza musicale non è sicuramente ampia, non conosco a memoria nomi di tutti gli artisti nè degli strumenti o delle tecniche, ma di certo ciò che mi guida è la musica in sé… quello che provo dentro. Forse, molte volte chi esagera nell’ imparare nozioni o ad ostentare una cultura pedantesca, si allontana un po’ da ciò che inizialmente l’ha condotto nel mondo della musica, e cioè quel piacere, quel gusto, quella sensazione che ti trasporta e ti spinge lontano, in un altro mondo, ti fa fantasticare su un posto migliore, più sereno, più giusto… E così mi sento io, in particolare con i Kiss, che ho conosciuto da poco, grazie al mio ex-ragazzo.
Quando li sento non penso veramente a niente, non penso più ai problemi che mi assillano, né a quanto questo mondo è ingiusto e schifoso, mi viene solo voglia di cantare a squarciagola e di seguire il ritmo delle loro canzoni… Sono dei grandi e “Hotter Than Hell” è a mio parere veramente ben riuscito!!! A parte “Goin’ Blind” , la ballatona della situazione, sono tutte fantastiche, come “Let Me Go, Rock ‘ N Roll” , oppure come “Got To Choose” ; ma come queste due succitate, il giudizio vele per tutte!!! Quello che apprezzo tanto è il loro stile musicale, puro rock ‘n roll, pulito, quasi rudimentale, niente virtuosismi, niente cazzate, niente esagerazioni (escluso il loro look, eh eh), appunto puro rock n’ roll, voglia di divertirsi, di prendere le cose così con semplicità e tanto amore per la musica, il linguaggio universale che avvicina tutti…
Bene, ho terminato, rileggendola mi sono accorta che è una non-recensione, perché ho parlato di tutto meno che dell’album, ma purtroppo notizie tecniche non ve le posso dare (per quelle spero mi aiuterete voi)… Diciamo che baso la bellezza di un album su dati empirici più che tecnici, sia giusto, sia sbagliato, non lo so… Mi raccomando, non siate troppo crudeli con i commenti, abbiate pietà, sono appena alla prima recensione!!!
