LA RECENSIONE
Dopo il buon esordio di "Lunapark" i Luna escono nel marzo del 1994 con questo straordinario "Bewitched", a detta di alcuni il loro migliore lavoro.
L'album, caratterizzato dal classico stile sognante e Dream pop del leader Dean Wareham, ci propone canzoni travolgenti come "California (all the way)", in cui si alternano strofe lente e un ritornello potente, la soffusissima title track e soprattutto quella "great Jones street" che è un capolavoro di tenerezza, bucolicita' e serenità, una canzone lenta sostenuta, solo o quasi, dalla chitarra acustica di Wareham.
Un disco da avere, per tutti i fan del Dream pop e dello shoegaze.

Luna
Luna è una band indie rock/dream pop statunitense fondata a New York nel 1991 da Dean Wareham (ex Galaxie 500). Con un suono elegante e sognante, ha firmato dischi come Bewitched, Penthouse e Romantica e numerose cover.
