 Molti hanno etichettato questo album come semi-fiasco solo perché gli Head non erano ritornati ai vecchi tempi, io invece lo definisco un gran bell'album nel genere in cui è stato inserito.

 Chi ama queste sonorità non si faccia sfuggire questo album, e nemmeno The Burning Red.

Machine Head sono una band metal statunitense di Oakland, formata nel 1991 da Robb Flynn e Adam Duce. Hanno definito il post‑thrash/groove anni ’90 con Burn My Eyes, attraversato una fase nu metal a fine decennio e sono tornati a sonorità più feroci con Through the Ashes of Empires e The Blackening.
