Immortal

Immortal è una band black metal norvegese fondata a Bergen nel 1991 da Abbath (Olve Eikemo) e Demonaz (Harald Nævdal). Tra i protagonisti della seconda ondata del black metal, hanno definito un immaginario glaciale (Blashyrkh) e pubblicato classici come Pure Holocaust, Battles in the North e At the Heart of Winter. Demonaz interruppe la chitarra nel 1997 per tendinite, rimanendo autore dei testi; dopo l’uscita di Abbath nel 2015, la band è proseguita pubblicando Northern Chaos Gods (2018) e War Against All (2023).
