Esordisce nel 1980 con The Glow of Love (con Luther Vandross alle voci), proseguendo con Miracles e Sharing Your Love. Nel 1984 il sound si rinnova con Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis in Change of Heart. Tra i brani celebri: A Lover’s Holiday, The Glow of Love, Paradise e Change of Heart.
