Michael Nyman

Michael Nyman (Londra, 23 marzo 1944) è un compositore, pianista e musicologo britannico. Figura chiave del minimalismo, è noto per le colonne sonore di The Piano e per la lunga collaborazione con Peter Greenaway (The Draughtsman's Contract, A Zed and Two Noughts, Drowning by Numbers, The Cook the Thief His Wife and Her Lover). Ha fondato la Michael Nyman Band e scritto opere, concerti e musica da camera.
