Tracce come “A Million Pleading Faces”, “Turn Away” , “I Can’ t Help My Self” e “Rip It Up” , sono esattamente e pequilibrate in un’ identica danza leggiadra dai suoni incessantemente ballabili e coinvolgenti e per  niente stucchevoli.

01   Rip It Up (05:19)

When I first saw you
Something stirred within me
You were standing sutry in the rain
If I could've held you
I would've held you
Rip it up and start again

Rip it up and start again
Rip it up and start again
I hope to God you're not as dumb as you make out
I hope to God
I hope to God
And I hope to God I'm not as numb as you make out
I hope to God
I hope to God

And when I next saw you
My heart reached out for you
But my arms stuck like glue to my sides
If I could've held you
I would've held you
But I'd choke rather than swallow my pride
Rip it up and start again

Rip it up and start again
Rip it up and start again
I hope to God you're not as dumb as you make out
I hope to God
I hope to God
And I hope to God I'm not as numb as you make out
I hope to God
I hope to God

And there was times I'd take my pen
And feel obliged to start again
I do profess
That there are things in life
That one can't quite express
You know me I'm acting dumb-dumb
You know this scene is very humdrum
And my favourite song's entitled 'boredom'

Rip it up and start again
I said rip it up and start again
I said rip it up and rip it up and rip it up and rip it up and rip it up and start again

02   A Million Pleading Faces (03:15)

03   Mud in Your Eye (03:56)

04   Turn Away (03:19)

05   Breakfast Time (05:10)

Breakfast time, breakfast time
The hands that tell me
Five to nine
Orange lights in orange lines
Sparkle bright of souls entwine

Pointting girl, sitting pretty
On the bus
Reminiscing, clammy kissing
Summer breeze, the big strip tease

You and I could frollic in the dew
Only I've something better to do
And with that I bid you fond farewell

Oh, how I wish I was young again
Oh, how I wish I was young again
Young again, young again

06   I Can't Help Myself (05:06)

07   Flesh of My Flesh (03:13)

Here's a penny for your thoughts
Incedentally you may keep the change
And here's a book of ettiquette
I bought to keep sane

And mutual friends say make amends
And a stitch in time saves nine or ten
Goodbyes
Flesh of my flesh
Flesh of my flesh
Flesh of my flesh

The difference between you and me
Is that the world owes you a living
And you always tow the party line
In your loving and your giving

Our mutual friends say make amends
And a stitch in time saves nine or ten
Goodbyes
Flesh of my flesh
Flesh of my flesh
Flesh of my flesh

08   Louise Louise (02:55)

That's a triffle obvious, girl
Telling me you don't belong in this world
Telling me as I fall flat on my face
In any case, that's your fall from grace
I know these melodramatics don't make things all right
Nor will they make you see things in a different light

You're a very pretty girl, Louise
But are the things you say just meant to tease
I'm doubled up on bended knees
Tell me, precious, tell me please
I know these melodramatics don't make things all right
Nor will they make you see things in a in a different light

And you can bite your lip
'Til the blood ran red
They're still such crazy things
To have said

Have a wonderful birthday, dear
Such a wonderful birthday, dear
It only comes but once a year
I'll spoil your party with a punky sneer
I know these melodramtics will make things alright
Nor will they make you see things in a different light
