Dopo aver scritto la mia prima recensione su "Live At Budokan", sono ritornato per "Live & Loud", ultimo album di Ozzy che ho acquistato."Live & Loud" è stato registrato nel 1991-92 nei vari concerti in tutto il mondo. Ozzy all'epoca aveva messo in giro la voce che questo sarebbe stato l'ultimo album della sua carriera, ma poi come sappiamo tutti non è stato così.
Questo cd doppio contiene tutti i migliori successi della sua carriera in versione live più la canzone "Black Sabbath" eseguita dalla formazione originaria Iommi, Butler, Ward, Osbourne, sempre live.
Il primo cd comincia con un curioso ed emozionante intro in cui vengono susseguiti alcuni pezzi delle più belle canzoni dei Black Sabbath e Ozzy solista, partendo da "Black Sabbath" per arrivare fino a "No More Tears". Poi il concerto parte con "Paranoid" (stranamente inserita all'inizio del live) e si susseguono canzoni come "I Don't Want To Change The World" e "Desire". La seconda secondo me è una della canzoni eseguite meglio di tutto cd. Ascoltanto capirete subito che Ozzy non canta proprio così bene e questo ne risentirà molto in tutto il concerto. Dopo la bella "Desire" troviamo "Mr. Crowley" ed "I Don't Know", entrambe a mio parere mal eseguite sia da Ozzy che da Zakk Wylde. Segue la splendida "Road To Nowhere" e "Flying High Again". Poi Zakk da un po' di spettacolo con un assolo di chitarra di 4 minuti e mezzo, discreto. Altre canzoni fanno via via strada nel concerto senza tanto emozionare.
Nel secondo cd troviamo canzoni che svariano da "Shot in The Dark", "No More Tears", passando per "War Pigs" (a mio parere eseguita male da Wylde) e "Crazy Train". Randy Castillo muove un po' le acque con un assolo di batteria, molto simile a quello di Tommy Aldridge in Tribute, ma lo stesso bello ed emozionante. Bella "Black Sabbath" l'omonima band fa tornare indietro la mente in cui i 4 facevano successo. Chiude "Changes", ben eseguita. In "LIVE & LOUD" dobbiamo sottolineare una scarsa prestazione di Ozzy con una prestazione insufficiente di Wylde. Bravi Randy Castillo alla batteria e Mike Inez al basso. Live-flop poco piacevole a parte per le canzoni scelte. Per far ottimo questo concerto avevamo bisogno dell'Ozzy in "Tribte" e del Wylde in "Mo More Tears".
