Con precisione l'11 cd dei Ramones, 12 tracce e l'ultimo registrato con l'etichetta Sire Records per poi passare alla Radioactive Records.
Brain Drain è uno tra i cd meno conosciuti del gruppo nonostante la presenza di Pet cemetery, il loro tormentone dell'89 che si è guadagnato il 4° posto tra le canzoni più belle dell'anno, in effetti ha molte storie questa canzone, una di esse è che la canzone in partenza è stata scritta per l'omonimo film di Stephen King. Forse si può capire in alcune tracce che tutto il gruppo era incasinato, chi con donne, chi con soldi o chi con problemi mentali. Avevo qualche dubbio a partire dalla copertina nel comprarlo ma una volta sentito mi accorsi che era proprio il loro stile soprattutto dall' inconfondibile voce di Joey Ramone che parlò di quest'album anche nella sua autobiografia. E un cd con tracce tristi ma anche veloci,vivaci, insomma un cd che rispetta le loro norme. Tra le tracce da elencare ci sono: Believe in Miracles, la prima dell' album con una durata di 3:19 minuti, Pet Cemetery di cui ne abbiamo parlato fin troppo, Palisades Park che è una cover di Chuck Barris , Learn to Listen e Zero Zero Ufo di cui non si hanno notizie . Una preziosa collaborazione è quella di Daniel Rey nello scrivere canzoni.
