Tad sono una band grunge statunitense formata a Seattle nel 1988 dal cantante/chitarrista Tad Doyle. Tra i nomi di punta della Sub Pop, pubblicano gli album God's Balls (1989), Salt Lick (1990) e 8-Way Santa (1991). Passano poi a una major con Inhaler (1993), prodotto da J Mascis, e chiudono con Infrared Riding Hood (1995). Si sciolgono nel 1999; nel 2008 esce la raccolta Busted Circuits And Ringing Ears.
