Sei vuoi essere alla moda devi comprare i ciddi di musica etnica della real world di Peter Gabriel o similare. Tanti bei soundini strani che Alex Britti non è capace di regalarti. Da Youssou N'Dour ai sardi Tenores de Bitti. Qualsiasi yuppie o bo-bo che popola le provincialissime metropoli italiane hanno almeno un ciddi di questo genere. Se invece sei una testa di cazzo qualsiasi meriti di avere nella tua discografia Badmarsh & Shri. Un insieme non banale di strumenti e sonorità, per questo filone chiamato nu-asian cool. Trovate tutto, dall'immancabile sitar alla più semplice drum machine. Ma che classe! Un Dj londinese ed un musicista di Bombay hanno messo insieme un capolavoro. Unica caduta di stile: una brutta cover di James Brown, 'Get Up. Ma un disco così dovete averlo.
