Between the Buried and Me sono un gruppo progressive metal statunitense fondato nel 2000 a Raleigh, North Carolina. Celebri per l’ibrido tra metal estremo e prog, uniscono tecnica estrema, cambi di tempo e melodie con frequenti incursioni jazz, pop e rock. Line-up nota: Tommy Giles Rogers Jr. (voce/tastiere), Paul Waggoner (chitarra), Dustie Waring (chitarra), Dan Briggs (basso/tasti) e Blake Richardson (batteria). Tra gli album più apprezzati: Colors, The Great Misdirect, Coma Ecliptic e il dittico Automata.
