"Atomizer" è forse il mio disco preferito degli anni '80, Steve Albini è un geniaccio, uno fra i migliori compositori del dopoguerra, in questo disco riesce perfettamente a fondere Hardcore, Noise e Industrial senza mai risultare ripetitivo. Le chitarre distorte e la scarsa produzione voluta rendono il disco molto grezzo.
Albini sfoga tutta la sua rabbia repressa con Kerosene (forse la traccia migliore di tutto il CD) poi sembra tranquilizzarsi con Bad Houses, la quale è principalmente basata sullo stesso giro di batteria e un riff graffiante di chitarra altamente distorta e rumorosa. I testi sono molto spartani, molto rabbiosi, Albini non si fa scrupoli e incide testi di natura molto violenta (Vedi Kerosene).
