Era il lontano 2003 e Dannii Minogue stava ormai realizzando il suo quarto album di studio dopo anni di silenzio; sembrava tutto pronto quando venne chiamata dal dj francese J.c.a. Jean claude aides che aveva per lei un idea brillante : scrivere un nuovo testo sulla melodia e sulla musica del suo singolo del 2002 "i begin wonder", gia pompatissima in europa nelle radio e nei clubs.
Fu cosi che nel marzo del 2003 per spingere il nuovo disco della sorella di Kylie usciva il singolo più potente di Dannii Minogue " I begin to wonder" che raggiunse la numero 2 delle charts , subito sotto "Beautiful" di Christina Aguilera.
Dannii era tornata da poco alla ribalta con due singoli " who do you love now " del 2001 ( con riva ) e " put the needle on it " del 2002, ma nulla dava per garantito questo successo mondiale.
L eco di Kylie e della sua " Can t get you out of my head " era ancora molto forte ma qualcosa di buono stava facendo anche Dannii.
" I begin to wonder " presenta lo stesso ritornello dell originale del 2002 ma le strofe sono nuove e con la voce di Dannii la traccia da puramente house music passa a pop-dance.
Un beat molto 80's , elettronico con sfumature house appunto. Il singolo è stato acccompagnato anche da un bootleg avvero un remix con un vecchio brano anni 80 dei dead or alive "you spin me round" che diventò "I begin to spin round".
Tutto questo accompagnato anche da un video bellissimo in cui Dannii si tagliava i lunghi capelli neri con una forbice in modo sexy e sensuale parlando in mille lingue diverse le parole " i begin to wonder".
Il singolo con Jca vendetto un sacco tanto da poter collaborare insieme anche nel quinto singolo "come & get it" con un successo però meno forte.
