Il terzo album di Deborah Harry può essere considerato l'anello di congiunzione tra la discografia dei Blondie primo periodo 76-82 e secondo periodo 1999-2014. La mano del produttore di quasi tutti i brani, Mike Chapman, è la stessa degli album di maggior successo del gruppo, compreso "Parallel Lines" e si sente, il suono è un evoluzione della New Wawe, meno Pop e più Rock del repertorio Blondiano. Il singolo "I Want that Man" e il brano "Kiss it Better", due pop-rock di buona fattura, sono prodotti dai Thompson Twins, e un altro singolo "Sweet and Low" di cui è uscito anche un remix, è prodotto dalla coppia Harry-Stein e Toni C."Maybe for sure", altro singolo, è un remake della colonna sonora del cartone "Rock and Rule", sempre cantato dalla Harry, c'è un altro remake l'etnica "Calmarie" di Nanà Vasconcelos. Tra i brani migliori "The end of the Run" una spoken word di notevole atmosfera con un bel testo autobiografico, "Get your way" rappata, in cui Harry rifà il verso a James Brown, di cui aveva reinterpretato dal vivo il brano "I Feel Good", e poi i rock sparatissimi "Forced to Live", "Comics Books" e "Forced to Live" una tripletta micidiale e inedita per la Harry di solito molto pop. "I'll never fall in love again" tropicaleggiante ce la riporta infatti al suo territorio più conosciuto. Un bell'album insomma, che suona bene ancora oggi.
