Griffin è una band heavy metal statunitense attiva negli anni ’80, autrice dei dischi Flight of the Griffin (1984) e Protectors of the Lair (1986).

Stile orientato all’US power metal, con influenze dalla NWOBHM. Mike “Yaz” Jastremski ha lasciato la band ed è entrato negli Heathen come bassista.

Band heavy metal statunitense degli anni ’80, affine all’US power metal. Il debutto Flight of the Griffin (1984) è celebrato come piccolo gioiello diretto e sincero. Protectors of the Lair viene considerato meno riuscito. Citato l’addio del chitarrista Mike “Yaz” Jastremski, poi nei Heathen.
