Premessa: ho visto pochissime recensioni su Debaser dei Judas Priest, leggendario gruppo heavy metal, quindi ho deciso di scriverne una sull’album “Stained Class”, un album che diede alla band di Birmighan gran successo ma che scosse anche tante polemiche a causa della track “Better By You, Better Than” che secondo alcuni nasconde un messaggio al contrario che inciterebbe al suicidio.
L’Album: "Stained Class" uscì nell’ormai lontano 1979 dopo il grande "Sin After Sin", la band in quel periodo comprendeva Les Binks alla battera, il solito grande Halford che canta, alla chitarre quei due mostri di GlennTipton e K.K Downing, e Ian Hill al basso. L’Aabum è un forte saldo della discografia prestiana e raccoglie alcuni grandi capolavori amati dai fan inoltre evidenzia le grandi capacità di Rob e dei grandi chitarristi.
Tutte le track dell’album sono molto belle, da segnare sono la track iniziale Exciter, Better By Yter Than Me, la title track, la splendida Beyond Thelms Of Death e la finale Heroes End.
Un album da avere perchè ha segnato la storia dell’Heavy Metal...

Stained Class cristallizza il linguaggio metal che verrà successivamente rivisitato da miriadi di gruppi inglesi ed americani.
Album da avere, senza meravigliarsi se alla fine dell’ascolto si sarà pervasi da una certa ansietà… ma it’s only heavy metal.
