Per un appassionato di musica come me, aver scritto "recensioni musicale" su Google, e aver così scoperto DeBaser.it è una vera e propria manna dal cielo! Il passaggio seguente è stato breve, iscrivermi e tentare nel mio piccolo di trasmette la mia passione per la musica con una recensione.
Nato per stare su un placo: Un artista completo-Justin da Memphis
In questa mio primo e (spero apprezzato da voi utenti) scritto voglio proporvi il talento (che sconfina oltre la musica, dato che è anche un ottimo attore) di Justin Timberlake: talento puro, talento cristallino, talento che filtra ad ogni ascolto dei suoi lavori. Ma questo chi ha avuto l'onore di ascoltare i precedenti lavori dell'ex N'Sync lo sa già.
"Future Sex/Love Sound" arriva a distanza di tre anni dallo splendido "Justified" che vantò la collaborazione dei Neputnes duo di produzioni musicali made in U.S.A individuabile nelle persone di Pharrell Williams e Chad Hugo. Quest'ultimo lavoro di Justin è un pop più difficile, forse più incisivo ma sicuramente più maturo dei precedenti dischi dell'artista di Memphis. Sicuramente sarebbe stato più semplice ripetere il sound più easy di "Justified", ma Justin sa cosa vuole e coltivando il suo talento immenso (affinando le sue qualità di pianista e chitarrista e chiaramente vocali) ci regala un disco dal sound hi-tech che è un must... da ascoltare e ascoltare nei nostri mp3.
Justin produce un album irresistibile, molto tirato e tremendamente affascinante: si nota l'influenza di Timbaland che si concreta in canzoni più funk, hip-hop e r&b sempre con il filo conduttore del international pop. Produzione made in Timbaland si è detto? Beh stratosferica, grandiosa con melodie che si incastrano alla perfezione con la sexy-voice di Justin. La voce di Justin risulta migliorata, con questo non voglio dire che nei precedenti lavori e capolavori il nostro ragazzo di Memphis non avesse le evidenti qualità vocali che lo hanno reso una star acclamata, ma si sa tutto è perfettibile e qui siamo molto vicini a tutto ciò.
Sicuramente di ottimo livello l'apripista e primo singolo "Sexy back", pezzo che ho ballato e riballato come un pazzo nei remix del Dj di turno in disco, che si insinua in testa col suo groove tremendamente inarrestabile. Altri pezzi che meritano menzione sono la rigogliosa "My love" e "LoveStoned/I Think She Knows Interlude" che è un pezzo che conosce una bipartizione: da funk irresistibile vira verso un profile melancholy. Vi ricordo per chi volesse acquistare il disco che "Future sex / Love sounds" vanta ottime collaborazioni; tra le quali spicca a mio avviso quella dove Benjamin Wright interagisce splendidamente con Justin nella slow di "Until the end of time"; e quella con Nelly Furtado in "Crowd control". Ulteriori collaborazioni sono quelle con Mario in "Lose your way" e con India Arie (bravissima cantante soul americana) in "Nocturn". Naturalmente un track-by-track sarebbe stucchevole, ho cercato in questa recensione di dare qualche informazione utile per i pochi che non hanno ancora ascoltato il disco.
Per concludere, certo Timberlake e' bravo, e questo non si può negare, ma per molte cose, l'impressione che ho, è che mi pare che raccolga quello che altri prima di lui hanno seminato come il mito Michael Jackson o Prince, nel senso che forse quello che fa non è propriamente original, ma ciò non toglie che questo disco sia una conferma di quello che velocemente si è trasformato in un artista completo.
Questo disco lo metto spesso durante le feste che organizzo a casa mia e riscuote sempre un certo successo perchè......
