Elenco tracce testi e samples

01   Black Mambo (05:54)

When you're on your own
And you've got them twisting bones
And a red hot poker burning in your ear
You think you've had it but you ain't nowhere near
You think you've had it but you're nowhere near

Oh, black mambo, gonna knock you down to the ground
Oh, black mambo, little chicken better run, run, run
Don't let the children catch you
Don't let all the children catch you

Gonna knock you down
With the liquour and love
Black mambo, little chicken better run, run, run
Don't let them catch you out here on the streets because you've got no soul
Black mambo, little chicken better run, run, run
Don't let the children catch you
Don't let all the children catch you

02   Step Into This Room and Dance for Me (05:13)

03   Nightly Disease, Part II (03:29)

04   Lucy One (04:49)

05   Hands Up - I Love You (05:37)

There's no use to complain
Or start it off again
There's no sign of weakness in me
Do I compel you like you compel me?
And nothing stays the same
And no one said it would
I would not think of such things if I could
If I could help myself
If I could
Oh

So put your warm little hands where I can see them
Put those hands on my face
Tell me you love me
And no one else
Or close those little hands
Now they're fists
Now they're little fists
Oh

Punch a hole in me with those fists
If you ever wanted to punch a hole in me
And find out what's in me
There's really nothing in me
Oh

And nothing stays the same
And nothing ever happens to you that will happen to you again
Or is this the way it was?
Was it this same room, this same fight, this same scene?
With us dancing on the kitchen floor
And the wind climbing in through the open window
Oh

I used to hear distant cracks out in the city night
I could swear someone was being shot down
Oh, now we hear that all the time

So do you like where we're headed?
Does it make sense in your eyes?
Do you miss me, baby, when I fall asleep?
Do you reach out for my arm?
Do you find it's too far away?
Do you?

Now tell me I'm handsome
I will tell you we are really not old at all
There's no use to complain

Still you and no one else

So put your warm little hands where I can see them
Put those hands on my face
Now if you get any out of this
Then that's the thing that makes me sleep all day
And I'll explain my love for you
On another day
Oh

We Are Go
Written by Sivert Høyem
Appears on: “The Nightly Disease”

In for no surprise
In for weary eyes
A dusty green disease
Distracting shuffling of feet
I try to fit in where we meet
I start falling in love with these streets

(B-verse)
Don't want to know you
Already know you
Already know your needs

(Chorus)
Listen: we are go for the old ride
I never get bored with killing time
I want a good ride
I'm go for the old ride

Try to make it real
Try something I can feel
Try to make it real
Try something I can feel

(B-verse)

(Chorus)

(Chorus)

A dusty green disease
Distracting shuffling of feet

(Chorus)

09   Into Heartbeats (04:31)

Walk this way into heartbeats
And airwaves and tears
Talk this way into heartbeats
And blankets and ears

(B-verse)
Any side of you
Any side will do
Any part of you
Anything will do

(Chorus)
It's not boiling down to anything at all
I stop trying to make sense of you

Walk this way into heartbeats
And airwaves and years
This is not "making movies"
Moving slowly
Making movie tears

(B-verse)

(Chorus)
I'm not looking for a sign
I'm not trying to punch a hole in you
I'm not looking for a spot
I'm not trying to make sense of you at all

(B-verse)

10   Sister (09:01)

11   Two Black Bones (05:22)
