Hellhammer sono un gruppo svizzero di metal estremo, attivo dal 1982 al 1984. Autori di tre demo fondamentali e dell’EP Apocalyptic Raids, sono considerati tra i pionieri della first wave del black metal. Dallo scioglimento nacquero i Celtic Frost.
